Thursday-We will start Translations.  We will learn them by modeling them and then go into the algebraic representation.  They will have homework tonight.

Friday-We will start Reflections.  We will learn them by modeling them and then go into the algebraic representation.  They will have homework tonight.

1. Look under the Video Lessons for class tab on the right side of my blog.  Click on the tab that is titled Solving Systems of Equations.  You will need to watch the video and fill out your worksheet.

2. Turn in your video lesson worksheet.

3. Get the Solve each System by Graphing worksheet.  When you are graphing your equation remember to graph your y-intercept first.  Then count your slope (from your y-intercept) and plot that point.  Connect your points.

4. Your point of intersection is your SOLUTION.  Write this in ordered pair form.  (X,Y) This is what will go in the blank.

5. Turn this worksheet in.

Click on the link under Videos on the right side of my blog titled Arithmetic Sequences.   Fill out the packet, then check what you and your partner have done.

Monday-We will start Patterns and Sequences.  Students will have a packet to do.  If they do not finish it in class, it will be for homework.

Tuesday-Relations-Students will have a Relations worksheet to do for homework on this day.

Wednesday- We will start Arithmetic Sequences with an activity in class.   Students with their groups will explain what they learned about the sequence that was given to them.  They will have homework this night.

Thursday-I will be out.  Students will have a video lesson on Systems of Equations.  Whatever is not finished in class will be their homework.  They are encouraged to email me while they are in class on my school email with any questions.  [email protected]

Friday-Students will start seeing if an ordered pair is a solution to the equation that is given to them.

***Next week we will only be here a day and a half.  If your student will NOT be here this week please let me know.  This way they are not behind when they get back from Thanksgiving break.  🙂

I have tried to get with all of the students that have zeros.  If they did not turn in their missing assignment, I sent them home with a new copy today.  Please check your student’s skyward account and email me with any questions.

Instead of having a review and test this week, we will have a quiz.  We would like to assess the students better to make sure that they will be ready for the test.  Sorry for the delayed notice.

Monday-We will start Direct Variation. Homework

Tuesday-Continue Direct Variation but now students will use a graph to represent it.  Homework

Wednesday-Students will write word problems with Direct Variation.  They will also have a TEST review come home this night.  It will be over Proportional Relationship and Direct Variation.

Thursday-Go over TEST review
